The Video Association of Dallas is the premier proponent of video art, inventive film, and documentaries in North Texas. Please join our vision of impacting our community through this exciting event.

Over the past ten years, the Dallas Medianale has carved out its unique niche in the North Texas art scene. We have introduced local audiences to dozens of national and international artists who have had little or no exposure in Dallas. We have also programmed series that chronicled the history of video and electronic art. Our exhibitions and screenings have offered opportunities for Texas artists to take their place in this international setting.

Welcome to the 3rd Dallas Medianale. The event kicks off May 18 with an exhibition at The MAC curated by Charles Dee Mitchell. Mitchell’s exhibition brings togethe video art, photography, and sculpture that incorporate new media while examining the history of the technology that makes this work possible. The exhibition runs through June 14, and The Medianale wraps up with two evenings of video performance curated by Bart Weiss at the Latino Cultural Center on July 17 and 18.

See you at the Dallas Medianale!
